No Control
Over the last year, the executives I support have confessed their deeply felt exhaustion. Most have also expressed their desire to get out, to quit, to retire, to exit the chaos of their roles. One of their biggest challenges? They no longer have control over what they could once rely upon. Their decisions don’t hold. Every statement or plan made could be shifted, changed or blown up quickly by forces outside of the organization - tariffs (forget about your reliable supply chain), conflicts (aka wars, driving expenses up to the point of financial collapse), extreme weather and natural disasters (everything stops), ICE threats (legal workers can’t show up because they fear false arrest), tech outages (WHOA, no business done for a full day?), AI FOR GOODNESS SAKE WHAT IS EVEN REAL? Riding the waves of the unknown has become more than just change management. You can barely take care of your own mental health let alone the safety of your workforce. Productivity grinds to a halt. Leaders are TIRED. Leaders need their own leader to help manage their capacity. An external coach can help - as a sounding board, a sympathetic ear, a guide, a counselor, and ultimately a help mate to keep going
Call if you need help. All my best, Jen
